Professional/Personal Biography
Jamie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 19 years of experience providing therapy for clients with a variety of reasons for seeking treatment. With a concentration on adults, Jamie received her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. She has been trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and CBT. Throughout her career Jamie has managed Substance Abuse services for women with dependent children, has worked on an inpatient psychiatric unit, an inpatient medical detox unit, and as a crisis worker in emergency room settings and telehealth settings. Her true passion is working with adults in her private practice outpatient setting helping them to find hope, healing, and happiness as they are able to learn healthy coping skills to manage emotional distress.
