Candice Christiansen, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Supervisor, a Certified EMDR Therapist, and a sex-specific mental health evaluator in the United States Criminal Justice System. She has 20 years of experience working with teens and adults with complex trauma and multiple addictions, including pornography/sex addiction, infidelity, sexual anorexia, love addiction/avoidance, substance abuse, financial disorders. Candice is the founder of two multi-national programs, Namasté Center For Healing and The Global Prevention Project, both of which are located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Candice is a sought after national and international consultant on her trauma, addiction, and sexual violence prevention efforts. She is faculty member at the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals, a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abuser’s (ATSA) global prevention committee, as well as their diversity sub-committee.She sits on the DOPL Substance Abuse Board, is on the United Nations Human Trafficking Task Force, and on the advisory committee for the Legal Reform for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Her clinical team includes other sex addiction therapists who are EMDR trained with a strong background in various sexual issues on the intimacy spectrum.
