“The Intersection of Latino Culture and Mental Health Treatment”

Karla was born and raised in Ciudad de Mexico and earned her MSW from the University of Utah. She has more than a decade of experience working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes. She specializes in trauma, and is certified in both TF-CBT and EMDR. Additionally, Karla is certified by the state of Utah to work with perpetrators of domestic violence. Karla is from a bicultural background and knows how it is to go through immigration issues and discrimination.
