Members Only Event Description
With 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in loss, we as providers will inevitably come into contact with clients who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, termination for medical reasons, and/or infant death. With both death and reproductive medical care being taboo topics in our society, clients often find themselves grieving alone after losing a baby. Without appropriate support, clients are more likely to experience unresolved grief and/or trauma impacting their lives even years after a loss. This presentation will orient participants to the nature of pregnancy/infant loss as a human experience as well as models and interventions which may assist providers in supporting their clients.
Members only event - you must be logged in to Wild Apricot to register.
